Attendance Audit Logs and Status Management

Attendance records sometimes require human review. Employees may forget to stop tracking, managers may approve manual time, or HR may need to distinguish absence, leave, holidays, late entry, no logout, and half-day cases. Tracker 29 keeps these updates structured and auditable.

Attendance Status Types

Tracker 29 can represent common attendance outcomes such as:

  • Full day
  • Half day
  • No show
  • No logout
  • Overtime
  • Absent
  • On leave
  • Holiday
  • Week off

Secondary status can add context such as late entry, early exit, manual attendance, weekend, holiday, or leave.

Day Details

The attendance day detail view helps admins and managers review:

  • Attendance rows
  • Session history
  • Break history
  • Screenshot count
  • Manual time requests
  • Approved leave context
  • Audit log history

Manual Corrections

Authorized roles can update attendance status with remarks. This is useful for approved manual time, missed checkout corrections, policy exceptions, and payroll review.

Why Audit Logs Matter

Audit logs help show who changed a record, when it changed, what the previous status was, and why the correction was made. That creates a cleaner trail for HR, payroll, and compliance review.
